Welcome to the Stereotypes Lab page!

Our lab is dedicated to examining stereotypes in any manner in which they appear. Currently, the major focus of the lab is addressing the stereotypes surrounding science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), i.e. who chooses these fields, what do they look like, what do they do? The anticipated outcome is to confront and dispel the stereotypes surrounding STEM and to increase gender and ethnic/racial diversity in STEM.

We have several ongoing projects that support our primary interests. To find out more about who we are and what we do, click on the links above.
